Feasibility report for the Kavango–Zambezi Water Infrastructure for Livelihoods Intervention, Namibia

This report guided CRIDF’s involvement in Phase III of the Water Infrastructure for Livelihoods Intervention of the Kavango–Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area Secretariat. Since 2013, CRIDF has worked with the Secretariat to improve the livelihoods of local communities in and around Kavango–Zambezi by establishing permanent water provision and associated livelihood improvements. This report details all aspects of the feasibility study carried out for Phase III, focussing on six settlements in the Mulobezi Game Management Area of Zambia. It includes design recommendations; institutional and stakeholder, environmental and climate change risk assessments; economic and financial analyses; and stakeholder endorsements.
