Sioma Irrigation Scheme: Feasibility report

This 161-page report details the findings of the feasibility study, conducted by CRIDF, on the Sioma Irrigation Scheme. The project aims to bring water from the Zambezi River to irrigate 57.8 ha of land, collectively owned by 100 households in the Malombe community of the Sioma District, Zambia; converting from rain-fed agriculture to irrigated land reduces the community’s vulnerability to climate change.
