Water for All series: Assessment of barriers to water access faced by young people

This brochure examines the prevalence of households headed by young people in Africa, assesses the barriers that prevent these young people from easily accessing water, and outlines how CRIDF can work to eliminate or reduce these barriers. The brochure examines the reasons behind inequitable access to water and how this impacts on the health, education and economic standing of young people. With regard to CRIDF’s work, the brochure focuses on the need to work with institutions and communities to build awareness of the ways in which young people suffer from inequitable access to water.
