OKACOM and CRIDF develop a Climate Resilient Development Pathway to help SADC decision makers select optimal development trajectories
In preparation for a new phase of investment planning in the Cubango-Okavango River Basin, CRIDF developed Climate Resilient Development Pathways, a tool to help basin planners in the Southern African Development Community select between potential development trajectories. The Pathways project subjected selected hydrological infrastructure investment options to an assessment of their sensitivity and vulnerability to climate change. This article lays out the recommendations made to relevant stakeholders based on the outcomes of this process.
