Climate Resilient Development Pathways workplan development: Climate index workshop report and presentation
CRIDF supported the Permanent Okavango River Basin Water Commission in the development of a climate vulnerability index, which was afterwards incorporated into a Climate Resilient Development Pathways workplan. As part of this project, CRIDF worked with Professor Jasper Knight to develop a climate index that could be applied to the development scenarios outlined in the Commission’s Multi-Sector Investment Options Analysis and aid decisions on the choice of appropriate development trajectories. This report contains learning from this process. It outlines the development scenarios and provides an assessment of potential impacts, per scenario, characterised by likelihood and severity.
