Analysis of multi-sector investment opportunities in the Zambezi River Basin: third volume (state of the basin)
This third volume of the World Bank’s 2010 analysis of the Zambezi River Basin summarises a series of longer reports and documents assessing options for water resources development and the benefits of cooperation among riparian countries. A World Bank team produced a summary of the state of the basin using reports and model simulations prepared by consultants. The report rounds up current knowledge on the Basin’s biophysical and socio-economic characteristics, and also covers hydrology, extreme events, climate change and macroeconomics; uses of water resources; and the state of regional cooperation.
