Green Climate Fund: Buzi River Basin Climate Resilience Fund Project concept note
This concept note, submitted to the Green Climate Fund (GCF), proposes that a fund should be established to build climate resilience in vulnerable rural communities in the Buzi River Basin – a transboundary basin shared between Zimbabwe and Mozambique. The fund is to support a minimum of 10 community-driven, small-scale integrated water resources management and development initiatives. The expected cost of launching and running the fund for three years is US$823,900; of this, GCF is asked to contribute US$623,900.
