Southern Africa Projections and Impacts Guidance Paper

This paper presents a consistent set of climate change projections for Southern Africa and identifies expected on-the-ground impacts. It is designed to complement the Climate Change Risk Assessment protocol. The projections included in the paper are derived from a literature review conducted by climate scientists located in both South Africa and the United Kingdom. For the purposes of reporting impacts in a meaningful way, Southern Africa is divided into five agro-climatic zones where specific projects and impacts are correlated.
