Water supply and sanitation feasibility report for Mwami, Zambia

This feasibility report establishes a socio-economic justification for bringing adequate and safe water supply and sanitation infrastructure to the Zambian border town of Mwami under the Southern African Development Community 12 Towns Project. Mwami, close to Chipata, was one of 12 border posts selected by the Community for inclusion in the project and support by CRIDF. Engineering, environmental, financial and economic studies were undertaken by CRIDF to establish the need for water supply and sanitation and to assess the feasibility of the required infrastructure. This report summarises the outcome of these studies.
